Picking and Receipting Stock with Unit Recognition

Each unit of measurement processed in Micronet must have its own bin location recorded against it. The selection of bins will be automatic and performed in the background if Micronet has been setup to use the Main Bin Only or Priority Order and the user does not have authority to edit bin locations.

To process items with unit recognition using multiple bins:

  1. Create the order and enter an inventory item as normal.

Micronet displays the Unit Recognition screen.

  1. Enter a Quantity.
  1. Enter all Dimensions.
  1. Enter a Bin Location.

Enter an assigned bin location for the item when picking. Enter any bin location for the warehouse when receipting.

2.8 Feature

If the setting for multi bins –- Pick Whole Qty From Bins on the Inventory Configuration screen (refer to "Edit - Program - Inventory") –- is set to Yes and the entire quantity cannot be filled from one bin, you can repeat these steps to allocate quantities from other bins.
